A Taste of Thomson IV (Returns)

Durban Guitar Maestro Barry Thomson will once again be performing his “one-man” show and again, by popular demand. “This is the fourth year running that Barry has staged his “rock favourites” tribute show. It was sold out in April and the demand was so great that we had to stage a re-run” says producer Gary McKenzie.

For a limited three-week season, some of Durban’s finest musos, namely Barry Thomson, Andy Turrell, Marion Loudon and Calli Thomson collaborate to produce two hours of pure, honest “unplugged” sounds.

The Guitar that rocked the world

Presented in association with the Elizabeth Sneddon Theatre, most of the original team who staged this hugely popular show have teamed up again to restage this innovative production which scooped a Vita Award for Best Musical when it played to sold-out houses in two successive Durban seasons, with a tour to Cape Town in between, during which it picked up two Fleur du Cap Award nominations.
